The OneTwoThree*Four Italian Tribute to the Ramones project was born from a dream.
In 1976, "RAMONES", the debut album by the Forest Hills band, was released, changing the face of rock music forever and giving birth to the punk movement. Exactly fifty years after that milestone, we felt the need to celebrate the legacy of Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, and Tommy through the voice and energy of the Italian punk rock scene. Thanks to a dense network of contacts and the essential collaboration of Nando Senzabenza, the project took shape in record time. In just two weeks, the roster was completed, bringing together the most representative names of the national scene.

The tribute focuses on the Ramones' self-titled debut album, recorded in February 1976 on a tiny budget (around $6,400) and released on April 23 of the same year. Featuring legendary tracks like "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Judy Is a Punk", and "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend", the record became the manifesto of punk: short songs, fast tempos, and lyrics ranging from irony to social critique. Celebrating this album today means honoring a masterwork that Rolling Stone magazine ranked among the greatest albums of all time, and that continues to influence generations of musicians worldwide.
The physical format was chosen to honor the analog nature and original aesthetics of 1976. The cover art, which features the iconic circular logo, highlights the indissoluble bond between the tradition of the Ramones and the "Italian Tribute" scene.
