STRIPED started in Italy in the late '90s as the fake-label of The Manges, and it eneded up being quite a real one. In October 2011 we opened our first web shop on BigCartel, the STRIPED Punk Rock Shop, and the first order came in January 2012. We haven't stopped since.
Today StripedMusicCom is an online store for pop punk, punk rock, hardcore, garage and rock'n'roll records and merch. It's run by two people: Andrea "Manges" and Luca "Pulce". We pick every record in the catalog, and we pack most orders ourselves. We own a button-making machine and make them for friends and Striped bands. Sometimes we do graphic design and marketing for bands, sometimes, but not very often, we book shows. Our biggest pride is that we co-founded and run the Italian punk annual festival Punk Rock Raduno. We take pride in being very active in our beloved scene, but we're also pretty cool with doing our own thing and, most of all, doing things our own way.
Striped Records
Like the shop, the label was founded by The Manges. More than 50 releases so far, mostly on vinyl: Screeching Weasel, Dwarves, The Queers, Travoltas, Huntingtons, DeeCRACKS, The Odorants, Retarded, Priceduifkes and many more. You'll also find the garage and punk records of Luca's label, Badman Records.
